We like straightforward fees that are easy to understand. That's why we've provided full transparency on this page. The platform is month-to-month and is flat-rate, however there are some services that have additional fees.
Our cellular and email services are entirely pay-as-you-go. Rather than building in a large margin to our prices and including a package of messages with every plan, we strive to keep our prices low and always disclose what you're paying in fees to the big carriers. Usage is entirely based on volume.
We use a wallet-based system to keep a balance on file at all times to ensure your marketing campaigns and conversations with customers never stop flowing in the event of a credit card failure. Your credit/debit card is automatically recharged when your balance reaches a certain level, at the dollar amount you select based on your individual usage.
A2P 10DLC (Application to Person Ten Digit Long Code) is the protocol which began the process of monitoring the web and software-powered platforms that were blasting Americans with spam text messages. The FCC now requires software providers and their business's customers to provide registration information that is used to monitor your sending reputation across multiple platforms, long-term preventing spam companies from switching providers as easily.
Messages and Message Fees are Charged in Segments, which are the building blocks for SMS and MMS messages going back to the days when messages could only support 160 characters.
1 Standard Segment = 160 Standard Characters per Segment (Standard Segment is described as one that contains GSM-7 only characters, otherwise known as text only)
Then we decided to get fancy, and added tiny little images called Emojis 😉, but those are actually too big for the old type of SMS and they eat up a lot of data, so you can't send as many text characters along with the emoji as you would with just letters.
1 Unicode Segment = 70 Characters per Segment (And each Emoji can take up to 3 of those, so choose wisely!)
MMS Can also be used to send text messages and comes with a character limit of 1600. Going for a novel? Send a photo attached and fire away for a flat-rate up to that limit.

Carriers have begun imposing fees for registered business traffic due to the "hassle" of having to monitor these messages for spam, (AKA, they wanted a new source of revenue). Listed below are the current fees imposed by each carrier for messages sent or received. We presently let these fees accrue to a small amount of at least $1 USD and then deduct this all at once in your Billing Tab as 'Carrier Fees', due to how our cellular partner calculates these fees on their end.
You will always see the base rate of each message sent deducted from your wallet within a few hours of the message being sent or received, with a link to that specific conversation appearing in the line item for easy reference.
